Uzgodniliśmy, że tory na stole są tylko ozdobą (nie wymagają testu cross, nasyp nie daje bulletproof cover).
We agreed that the tracks on the table are only a decoration (they do not require a cross test, the embankment does not give a bulletproof cover).

GER zaczęli na stole z: 6x Nebelwerfer, 2x 88mm AA, 3x Sdkfz 10/4, 4xPAK40 (ambush).

W rezerwach: HQ, 2xpluton piech, 4x 105mm haubica.
GER started on the table with: 6x Nebelwerfer, 2x 88mm AA, 3x Sdkfz 10/4, 4xPAK40 (ambush).
In the reserves: HQ, 2xpluton infantry, 4x 105mm howitzer.

USA zaczęli na stole z: HQ, 2x pluton piechoty, 2x po 4x 57 AT gun, 4x 105mm haubica, 3x Priest, 2x po 4x mortar 81mm, Greyhound+2 jeepy.

W rezerwach zostało: 4x Sherman 76mm, 4x Stuart, Greyhound+2 jeepy, 4x M12 155mm haubica. The U.S. started on the table with: HQ, 2x infantry platoon, 4x 105mm howitzer, 3x Priest, 2x 4xmortar 81mm, Greyhound+2 jeeps.
In the reserves: 4x Sherman 76mm, 4x Stuart, Greyhound+2 jeeps, 4x M12 155mm howitzer.

Plan taktyczny USA był prosty: nacierać na prawym skrzydle piechotą z HQ pod osłoną terenu na cel broniony przez Sdkfz 10/4, a samochodziki mają pruć po ulicy i ujawnić zasadzkę, ew. zmęczyć obronę. Lewe skrzydło i środek (poza główną drogą) bez ruchu.
The tactical plan of the USA was simple: attack on the right wing on foot from HQ under cover of the terrain on the target defended by Sdkfz 10/4, and the cars are to be wrecked on the street and reveal the ambush, or tire of defense. Left wing and centre (outside the main road) with no traffic.

Tura 1
Na dobry początek weszły haubice 155mm z rezerw. Niestety zszedł tylko 1 Sdkfz 10/4. Zwrotnie pozostałe dwie pelotki z PAKami anihilowały samochodziki.
Turn 1
For a good start the 155mm howitzers from the reserves entered. Unfortunately, only 1 Sdkfz 10/4 came off. In this turn, the other two PAK pellets annihilated the cars.

Tura 2
Zero rezerw dla USA.

Pluton piechoty ruszył naprzód. 5 baterii artylerii starało się skoncentrować nawałe ogniową na prawym skrzydle. W efekcie Sdkfz 10/4 został tylko jeden z pinned down. PAK40 też zostały przygwożdżone i zredukowane do 3szt.

Odważni amerykańscy piechurzy zaszturmowali na ostatni Sdkfz 10/4, który się wycofał bez strat, ale jankesi po konsolidacji już kontestowali objective.

Sdkfz nie zebrał się w sobie, ale nie uciekł z pola walki. Dręczył ogniem piechotę US Army, podobnie jak zebrane PAK40 i jedno z dział 88mm AA. Efekt mizerny, podobnie jak rakietowy ostrzał z Nebelwerferów (co za save'y piechoty).

Turn 2

No reserves for the United States.
Infantry platoon has moved forward. 5 artillery batteries tried to concentrate the fire blast on the right wing. As a result, only one of the pinned down Sdkfz 10/4 was left. The PAK40 was also pinned down and reduced to 3 pcs.
Brave American infantrymen decided on the last Sdkfz 10/4, which withdrew without any losses, but the Yankees, after consolidation, were already protesting the objective.
Sdkfz did not gather in himself, but he did not escape from the battlefield. He tormented the infantry of the US Army with fire, as well as the collected PAK40 and one of the 88mm AA guns. The effect was poor, as well as rocket fire from Nebelwerfer (what the infantry saves).

Tura 3

Wjechały z rezerw Stuarty. Po osłoną lasów, wzgórz i budynków jechały główną drogą na spotkanie PAK40. 2 bazooki nie trafiły w Sdkfz 10/4, a artyleria zdjęła kolejnego PAK 40. Amerykańska piechota z sukcesem poszła do szturmu - ostatni samochodzik-pelotka spłonął, a jankesi skonsolidowali się z powrotem w polu. Na przeszkodzie w zdobyciu objective'a stały już tylko przygwożdżone PAK40.

Nadeszły kluczowe rzuty:

PAK40 się nie zebrały, a Niemcom nie weszły rezerwy. PAK40 mimo to odstrzeliły połowę Stuartów. Wstrzelany Nebelweefer z przerzutami trafień zdziesiątkował piechotę US Army: zostały 2 podstawki i 1 HQ, oczywiście przygwożdżone.

Turn 3

Stuarts came from the reserves. They took the main road to the PAK40 meeting under cover of forests, hills and buildings. Two bazooks missed Sdkfz 10/4, and the artillery took off another PAK 40. The American infantry successfully went to the assault and the last AA car burned down, and the Yankees consolidated back in the field. Only the nailed PAK40 stood in the way of getting an objective.

The key throws came: The PAK40 didn't gather and the Germans didn't get the reserves. The PAK40 still shot half of the Stuarts. The shot Nebelweefer with the metastasis of hits decimated the infantry of the US Army: 2 stands and 1 HQ were left, of course nailed.

Tura 4

Niedowierzanie:

Pozytywne - Amerykanie kolejno zbierają HQ i resztki plutonu piechoty, ktory "pokazał jaja" i wytrwał na posterunku.

4 kostki rezerw na 5+ - nic nie weszło. :(

Stuarty road-dashują na 20cm od PAKów i 13 od objective. Jeden bateria 57mm AT gun przetacza się 5cm do przodu i gwałtownie likwiduje przedostatniego PAK40. Ten ostatni ściągnał na siebie 5 namiarów. Piątego już nie wytrzymał. Objective zdobyty.

Tour 4

I don't believe it:

Positive - Americans successively collect HQ and the remains of the infantry platoon, which "showed their eggs" and survived at their position.

4 dices of reserves for 5+ - nothing came in. :(

Stuarty made a dash at 20cm from PAKs and 13 from objective. One 57mm AT gun battery rolls 5cm forward and suddenly liquidates the penultimate PAK40. The last one has attracted 5 leads. The fifth one didn't last anymore. Objective gained.

Wynik: 8:1 dla Rademon przez zajęcie objective.
The result: 8:1 for Rademon by taking the objective.

PS. Przy nawale NW41 w 3. Turze zapomnieliśmy o 2 przerzutach udanych save'ów piechoty (za repeat bombardment).
PS. During the arillery bombardment of NW41 in 3rd Turn we forgot about 2 re-rolls of the successful infantry saves (for repeat bombardment).

Drugie starcie w Lidze

Tym razem Lires przejechał się po Leszczycu. Do starcia doszlo w dniu dzisiejszym. 

This time Lires drove around Leszczyc. The clash have taken place today. 

Lires z Leszczycem zagrali w FoW na formacie MW 100 pkt. Lires swoimi Niemcami  z DAK powstrzymał natarcie rosyjskie. Scenariusz No retreat. Atakującym był Leszczyc ze swoimi Rosjanami. 

Lires and Leszczyc played in FoW on the format of MW 100 points. Lires with his Germans from DAK stopped the Russian attack. Sccenarious they played: No retreat. The attacker was Leszczyc with his Russians. 

Początkowe rozstawienie oddziałów walczących przedstawia poniższe foto.

The initial deployment of the fighting troops is shown in the photo below.

W pierwszej turze 88-ki Liresa rozstrzelały pluton KV-1. Shturmoviki Leszczyca pojawiły się raz przez całą grę.

In the first turn Lires' 88s executed a KV-1 platoon. Leszczyc's Shturmoviks appeared once throughout the entire game.

Zgodnie z zeznaniami jeńców natarcie Rosjan zaczęło się na począdku od prwego skrzydła, gdzie było powstrzymywane przez niemieckich grenadierów przez trzy tury.

According to the testimonies of the prisoners of war, the attack of the Russians started on the right wing, where it had been stopped by the German grenadiers for three rounds.

Od czwartej tury Niemcy zaczęli otrzymywać posiłki. Najpierw z rezerw wyszło rozpoznanie a zaraz potem Tygrys, który zaczął rozstrzeliwać rosyjskie Valentynki. 

Since the fourth turn the Germans had started to receive their reinforcements. First, the reconnaissance came out of the reserves and then the Tiger, who started to shoot Russian Valentines.

Po utracie piechoty i zwiadu Konrad poddał się. Tak wyglądała sytuacja na końcu walki.

After the loss of infantry and reconnaissance, Konrad gave up. Below you can see how the situation looked like after combat was finished.

Po bitwie, rosyjscy jeńcy zeznali, że ich armię opuściło szczęście, np.: w szturmie, rosyjska piechota uderzająca na 2+ miała 50% skuteczności (!), jedna z Valentynek zginęła od nawały artyleryjskiej przez niedomknięty właz.

After the battle, the Russian POWs testified that their army had left happiness, e.g. in the storm, the Russian infantry hitting 2+ had 50% effectiveness (!), one of the Valentines died from an artillery bombardment through an open hatch.

Wynik starcia 8:1 dla Piotra Nowaka. Grfatulujemy! Po tej bitwie Piotr wysunął się zdecydowanie na prowadzenie w rankingu najskuteczniejszych graczy, jak i najaktywniejszych graczy.

The result of the clash was 8:1  for Piotr Nowak. Congratullations! After this battle, Piotr took a decisive lead in the ranking of the most effective player, as well as the most active player.

Pierwsze starcie III edycji Ligi

W dniu dzisiejszym, 27.08.2019 r., rozegrana została bitwa inauguracyjna III edycji Warszawskiej Ligi Flames of War.

Today, on 27.08.2019, the inaugural battle of the 3rd edition of the Warsaw Flames of War League took place.

Starcie odbyło się pomiędzy Piotrkiem Nowakiem a mną (Tomek Woźniak). Graliśmy we Flames of War (4 edycja), LW 100 pkt. Piotrek dowodził braytyjską kompanią piechoty a ja sowiecką kompanią czołgów. Ja przyjąłem postawę Atak a Piotrek obrona, wylosowaliśmy scenariusz  No Retrit i ja atakowałem. Początowe rozstawienie naszych sił przedstawia poniższe zdjęcie.

The clash took place between Piotr Nowak and me (Tomek Woźniak). We played Flames of War (4th edition), LW 100 points. Piotrek commanded the British infantry company and I commanded the Soviet tank company. I choose Attack battle plan and Piotrek Defend, we drew the  No Retrit scenario and I was an Attacker. The initial deployment of our forces is shown in the picture below.

Gra trwała 8 tur. Udało mi się wjechać na Objectiv, ale nie udało misie pozbyć brytyjskiej piechoty Piotrka, która kontestowała go. Przegrałem grę wynikiem 6:3 dla Piotra, poprzez złamanie mojej kompanii. Jak widać, tanio jednak skóry nie sprzedałem - zabiłem Piotrowi pluton Achillesów, pluton 6 funtowych dział ppanc., ploton 25 funtuwek i pluton Sextnonów.

The game lasted 8 turns. I managed to get into Objectiv, but I couldn't get rid of the Piotrek's British infantry , who contested it. I lost the game with a score of 6:3 for Piotr, by breaking my company. As you can see, I didn't sell leather cheaply - I killed Piotr's Achilles platoon, 6 pdr AT guns platoon, 25 pdr guns platoon and Sextnon platoon.

III edycja Ligi

Rozpoczynamy trzecią edycję rozgrywek Warszawskiej Ligi Flames of War. Pogramy od 15.08.2019 do 31.12.2019 r.

Podsumujmy. Ostatecznie w Lidze zagrało 12 graczy. Nie jest to wynik oszamiałający, podobnie jak i ilość rozegranych bitew - 21. Daje nam to wspaniałą średnią ok. 2 gier na gracza w ciągu pół roku biorąc pod uwagę, że do Ligi były także zaliczane wyniki z turniejów ogólnopolskich.

Tytuł "Mistrza Warszawskiej Ligi Flames of War drugiej edycji" otrzymuje Tulim. Stosowny dyplom w najbliższym możliwym czasie zostanie naszemu nowemu mistrzowi wręczony.


Najaktywniejszym graczem zostałem ja, z wynikiem 8 rozegranych bitew, ale sam sobie takiego dyplomu wręczać nie będę - tak w ramach protestu. ;-)
